Commuters in Khordha district can finally breathe easier. Three long-awaited bypasses at Rajasunakhala, Begunia, and Pubusahi have received official sanction, promising to slash travel time and end daily traffic snarls that have plagued the region for years.
Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi, took to X (formerly Twitter), and wrote:
I had requested Hon’ble Minister Sri @nitin_gadkari for Three Bypasses at the following places –
RAJASUNAKHALA, BEGUNIA & PUBUSAHI
for ease of movement of people.

The 18-kilometre stretch of new roads, costing ₹544 crore, will divert heavy traffic away from congested village stretches, making daily commutes smoother for thousands of residents, farmers, and small businesses.
