The Odisha government has announced the continuation of interest-free loans for women self-help groups (SHGs).
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved the proposal to extend this financial support into the upcoming fiscal years.
Under this scheme, women SHGs can avail loans of up to Rs 10 lakh without any interest. This initiative aims to empower women entrepreneurs and facilitate the creation of more Lakshapati Didis (successful women entrepreneurs).
The Chief Minister emphasized that this move will strengthen the economic participation of women and contribute to the financial growth of both rural and urban areas in the state.
