Odisha Vigilance officials conducted multiple raids on Saturday targeting Debasis Sahoo, Assistant Project Manager of the Odisha Water Supply & Sewerage Board (OWSSB), Bhubaneswar.
The searches, authorized by the Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar, are taking place at multiple locations linked to Sahoo, including Bhubaneswar, Jatni, and Cuttack. A large vigilance team, comprising seven DSPs, nine Inspectors, ten ASIs, and other officials, is meticulously verifying financial documents, property records, and assets to assess potential disproportionate wealth.
Raids Conducted at Seven Locations:
- Residential house at Main Road, Jatni, Khordha.
- Rented house at Sukanti Devi Enclave, Aiginia, Bhubaneswar.
- Double-storyed building at Sardar Patel Marg, Jatni, Khordha.
- Triple-storyed (under construction) building at Sardar Patel Marg, Jatni, Khordha.
- Two shops at Banadurga Market Complex, Jatni, Khordha.
- Relative’s house at Choudwar, Cuttack.
- His office at Bhubaneswar.
