Odisha Vigilance has launched simultaneous raids on five locations connected to Kishore Kumar Sahani, a senior assistant at the City Hospital in Cuttack, following allegations that he misappropriated over Rs 1.24 crore in government funds.
The searches, which began on August 22, 2025, are being conducted by a team of nine DSPs, ten inspectors, and other supporting staff. The operation is based on search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack.
The locations being searched include:
- Sahani’s three-story home in Jobra Nuasahi, Cuttack.
- Another building and a poultry farm he owns in Palasia, Choudwar.
- His office at the City Hospital (CDMO’s office).
- His father-in-law’s house in Deula sahi, Tulsipur.
- His ancestral home in Uttarakula, Kishorenagar.
The investigation is ongoing, and more details are expected to be released.
