Odisha Vigilance on Monday launched simultaneous searches at eight locations linked to Sri Surendra Behera, Superintending Engineer (SE), Irrigation Division, Angul, on allegations of disproportionate assets (DA) accumulation.
The operation, carried out by a team of 3 DSPs, 10 Inspectors, 4 ASIs, and other staff, is being conducted on the strength of search warrants issued by the Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Sundargarh.
The searches are underway at Behera’s properties and offices spread across Bhubaneswar, Rourkela, Sundargarh, Angul, and Ganjam. These include:

A double-storey house in Rourkela’s Gopabandhu Nagar

Two flats at Aurovila-1, Ghatikia, Bhubaneswar

His paternal house in Ranjhali, Ganjam
