Odisha Vigilance today arrested Kushadhwaja Sahu, former Secretary-cum-Chief Executive of Pandamunda Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) under Patnagarh Block in Bolangir district, on charges of financial fraud and embezzlement of society funds.
Investigating officers uncovered a calculated misappropriation of government funds amounting to Rs 8,34,489. The probe revealed that Sahu deliberately manipulated official records between financial years. He failed to carry forward the closing balance of 2017-18 into the opening balance of 2018-19, siphoning off the difference.
Following the investigation, Odisha Vigilance registered Sambalpur Vigilance PS Case No. 24/2025 against the former executive.
Officials confirmed that Sahu was formally arrested on November 13, 2025. He is being forwarded to the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bolangir.
