In a compelling virtual address at the 2nd Regional Dialogue of the State Support Mission (SSM), Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary of Odisha, Ms. Anu Garg, presented the state’s ambitious vision: “Viksit Odisha for Viksit Bharat.”
The event, held at YASHADA, Pune, was a collaborative initiative between NITI Aayog and Maharashtra Institute for Transformation (MITRA).
Ms. Garg emphasized Odisha’s commitment to aligning its developmental strategies with the national goal of a developed India. Her presentation showcased Odisha’s achievements in digital governance, inclusive growth, and citizen-centric reforms. She also outlined future priorities in health, education, infrastructure, and climate resilience.
The panel discussion titled “State Vision” featured senior officials from various states, fostering dialogue on how regional innovation can drive national transformation. Odisha’s proactive governance model and emphasis on sustainable development were lauded as exemplary.
This dialogue marks a significant step in strengthening inter-state collaboration and accelerating India’s journey toward holistic development.
