In a move set to revolutionize healthcare delivery, the Government of Odisha has announced the launch of a new IT platform for hospitals empanelled under the AB PMJAY-GJAY and AVVY schemes.
The initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency and ensure uninterrupted care for beneficiaries during the transition phase. To support the smooth implementation, a Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) has been shared with all empanelled hospitals.
In an official communication from Ms Aswathy S., IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Government, all empanelled hospitals have been instructed to adhere to the SoP while transitioning to the new platform.
The SoP outlines clear steps to address potential technical challenges while using the platform. Beneficiaries will undergo eligibility checks via an alternative portal, and hospitals are mandated to ensure no eligible patient is denied cashless treatment. Instructions for reporting cases, contact details for technical support, and troubleshooting procedures have been included to facilitate seamless operations.
The new IT system is anticipated to streamline processes, minimize disruptions, and elevate the quality of healthcare services available to beneficiaries across Odisha.
