The All India Congress Seva Dal has approved the appointment of lawyer Mitrabhanu Mohapatra as the new Treasurer of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Seva Dal.
The responsibility was entrusted to him by Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) President Bhakta Charan Das and Odisha Congress Seva Dal President Shubhendu Mohanty, reflecting their confidence in his leadership.
Expressing gratitude, Mohapatra thanked Das, Mohanty, and All India Congress Seva Dal Chief Organiser Srinivas B.V. for their trust. Previously, Mohapatra served as Secretary of the OPCC, contested the 2024 Assembly elections from Brahmagiri, and was a candidate in the 2022 Zilla Parishad elections. He has also held roles as Secretary of Bhubaneswar District Congress Committee and Chairman of the Legal Cell.
Known for his dedication and organisational skills, Mohapatra pledged to carry out his new responsibilities with integrity, transparency, and commitment, while strengthening and energising the Seva Dal across Odisha.
