Odisha Police to Host ‘JUVENTICA’ Conclave on Children’s Digital Rights

Odisha Police, in collaboration with UNICEF, will organise JUVENTICA – Digital Rights & Safety of Children Conclave on March 14, 2026, at Police Bhawan, Bhubaneswar.


The conclave will bring together senior officials, educators, parents, students, child rights experts, and digital creators to discuss challenges and opportunities children face in the digital world. With children spending increasing time online, the event aims to build awareness and encourage collective responsibility for safe and empowering digital engagement.

Chief Secretary of Odisha, Smt Anu Garg, IAS, will attend as the Chief Guest. Senior dignitaries, including DGP Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, IPS, and DGP CID-CB Vinaytosh Mishra, IPS, will also participate.

The day-long event will feature keynote addresses, research insights on data protection and age-appropriate consent, a celebrity fireside chat on digital culture, and panel discussions on policing responses to online harms and children’s rights in digital spaces.

Smt Shyni S., IPS, Addl. DGP, CAW & CW, Odisha, emphasised the importance of guiding children in both physical and digital environments. She said JUVENTICA will foster dialogue among families, institutions, and law enforcement to protect children’s rights online.
