CBI arrested another broker in connection with the Police SI exam scam. Officials detained Epili Sitaram from Berhampur after finding evidence of his involvement.
Investigators revealed that Sitaram arranged candidates and assisted in transporting them by bus to Andhra Pradesh. CBI summoned him for questioning after gathering proof of his role. Following multiple interrogations, officers finally arrested him today.
The Police SI exam scam has already seen major developments. CBI filed a primary chargesheet against 16 accused, including key conspirator Shankar Prusti. The investigation continues, with more arrests likely as evidence surfaces.
Authorities confirmed that the scam involved organised networks of brokers and middlemen who exploited aspirants. The case has raised serious concerns about transparency in recruitment exams.
