The Higher Education Department of Odisha has announced that the Postgraduate Entrance Exam 2026 will begin on May 5 and continue till May 16.
The State Selection Board (SSB) will conduct the examination for 50 postgraduate subjects across various universities in the state.
A total of 58,708 students have applied for 31,915 PG seats this year, marking one of the largest participation figures in recent years. The department released the detailed schedule, listing subjects and timings for both morning and afternoon sittings.
The entrance test will cover a wide range of disciplines, including Commerce, Biotechnology, Sociology, Physics, Odia, Law, Computer Science, and Environmental Science. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official SSB website starting April 30 by entering their application barcode number and date of birth.
