Odisha Govt Transfers Senior OAS Officers in Major Administrative Reshuffle

The Government of Odisha’s General Administration & Public Grievance Department has issued a comprehensive notification announcing a series of transfers and postings of senior officers from the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS).


The reshuffle affects key departments including Parliamentary Affairs, Health & Family Welfare, Higher Education, and Urban Development.

Among the notable changes:

  • Shri Sibo Narayan Sahu, Deputy Director General (Admin.), Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, has been appointed as Special Secretary to the Government, Parliamentary Affairs Department.
  • Dr. Monalisa Lenka takes over as Deputy Director General (Admin.) at the Gopabandhu Academy, replacing Shri Sahu.
  • Smt. Soojata Mesra will continue as Special Secretary in the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department, as her earlier posting to Higher Education has been cancelled.
  • Shri Sashank Sekhar Dash has been transferred to the Health & Family Welfare Department as Additional Secretary.
  • Smt. Mamata Rani Naik moves to the Housing & Urban Development Department as Joint Secretary.
  • Shri Chinmaya Kumar Acharya is posted as General Manager of Odisha State Medical Corporation on foreign service terms.
  • Shri Ashok Kumar Das is appointed Deputy Commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.

Several previously announced postings have been revoked, including those of Smt. Dharitri Mishra, Shri Prafulla Kumar Swain, and Shri Sanjay Kumar Pratihari, who will continue in their current roles.
