The state government has announced Rs 110 crore flood assistance for 22 districts, following widespread damage caused by recent floods.
Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari informed that Baleshwar, Bhadrak, and Jajpur districts have suffered extensive losses. Accordingly, Baleshwar will receive Rs 22.03 crore, Jajpur Rs 20.20 crore, and Bhadrak Rs 20.12 crore.
Officials said final damage assessment reports from various departments are expected by 5 pm tomorrow, after which further measures will be taken.
The relief package aims to support immediate rehabilitation and restoration efforts in the affected districts.
