In a significant administrative overhaul, the Government of Odisha has issued a notification detailing the transfer and posting of several senior officials from Odisha Administrative Service (OAS).
The move, effective immediately, aims to streamline governance and enhance administrative efficiency across various districts and departments.
The notification, issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, includes the following key changes:
- Rajendra Kumar Ranjit, OAS (SAG), previously serving as Additional Commissioner for Settlement and Consolidation in the Office of RDC (CD), Cuttack, has been transferred and posted as CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Gajapati.
- Chinnmayee Biswal, OAS (SAG), Secretary of the State Transport Authority (STA), Cuttack, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to Government, HT & H Department.
- Shibo Topo, OAS (SAG), Additional District Magistrate, Cuttack, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, State Transport Authority (STA), Cuttack, on foreign service terms and conditions.
- Naresh Chandra Sabar, OAS (S), CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Kandhamal, has been transferred and posted as Additional District Magistrate, Koraput. This appointment is in exercise of powers conferred under sub-section-2 of section-14 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, allowing him to exercise powers under sub-section-2 of section-14 of the Naresh Chandra Sabar, OAS (S) as the Additional District Magistrate, Koraput in the district of Koraput.
- Bhaktabandhu Janardan Dalai, OAS (S), Additional District Magistrate, Koraput, has been transferred and posted as Additional District Magistrate, Kandhamal. Similarly, this is under the same legal provisions, appointing Shri Bhaktabandhu Janardan Dalai, OAS (S) as the Additional District Magistrate, Kandhamal in the district of Kandhamal.
- Bedabara Pradhan, OAS (S), Additional District Magistrate, Malkangiri, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to Government, Revenue & DM Department.
- Kamaljit Das, OAS (S), Joint Secretary to Government, MSME Department, Cuttack, has been transferred and posted as Additional District Magistrate, Cuttack. This is also under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 provisions.
- Dayamaya Padhi, OAS (S), CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Malkangiri, has been transferred and posted as Additional District Magistrate, Malkangiri, again under the same legal framework.
- Dasarathi Saraboo, OAS (S), Regional Manager, RIC, Berhampur, has been transferred and posted as CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Malkangiri.
- Durjyodhan Bhoi, OAS Gr.A (SB), Additional E.O., Zilla Parishad, Kalahandi, has been transferred and posted as Sub-Collector, Malkangiri. This appointment exercises powers under Sub-Section-4 of Section-14 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, allowing Durjyodhan Bhoi, OAS Gr.A (SB) as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Malkangiri in the district of Malkangiri.
