The Odisha Higher Education Department has officially announced that first-year undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) classes for the 2025–26 academic session will begin on July 10, 2025.
The admissions process will be conducted in a phased manner through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal.
Undergraduate (UG) Admission Timeline
UG admissions will take place in three main rounds prior to the start of classes:

A second phase of UG admissions will begin after the CHSE (Council of Higher Secondary Education) announces the results of the supplementary/instant Plus II exams, which are expected later in July.
