The Subhadra Yojana, a flagship economic empowerment program for women, has gained considerable traction since its inception. The state government has announced that the third installment will be disbursed on Raksha Bandhan. To be eligible, applications must be submitted by 31 March, and those who meet the deadline will receive a consolidated sum covering three installments.

In an impressive show of commitment to women’s welfare, the Odisha government has allocated ₹10,145 crore for the 2025-26 fiscal year, ensuring sustained support for beneficiaries. Additionally, ₹153 crore has been earmarked for the Subhadra Suraksha scheme, which focuses on enhancing women’s safety and well-being.

This disbursement underscores the Odisha government’s dedication to fostering economic security and independence for women across the state.
