Nuapada: Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) Sunil Bansal, who is on a one-day visit to Nuapada district, today reviewed Left Wing Extremism (LWE) Scenario in the region
This morning, Odisha DGP along with the Director of Intelligence visited Nuapada and interacted with SOG & DVF Jawaans at DPO, Nuapada. DIGP SWR was also present.
 First, he reviewed the LWE Scenario in the Sunabeda Sanctuary on the Odisha and Chhattisgarh border. Later, he inaugurated the newly constructed CRPF camp at Datunama.

DGP Odisha visited Datunama COB, accompanied by Director Int, ADG CRPF, reviewed the LWE Scenario of the area and interacted with Jawaan Of CRPF and COBRA to boost their morale. DIGP SWR was also present during the visit.
In the afternoon, the Odisha DGP held a discussion with police officers at the district police headquarters on the steps to tackle the naxal menace in the bordering areas.

He has called upon the red rebels to shun violence and join the mainstream of society to promote development. South-West DIG Charan Singh Meena, and IG Operations Sanjeev Panda were present at the meeting.
