Odisha CM Mohan Majhi Hails India’s T20 World Cup 2026

Odisha CM celebrates India T20 World Cup 2026 victory

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi joined millions of Indians in celebrating the national cricket team’s triumphant victory in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, as Team India defended their title with a commanding 96-run win over New Zealand in the final at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 8, 2026.


In a series of enthusiastic posts on X, CM Majhi expressed his pride and joy at witnessing the historic moment. One post read: “History made, hearts united. Heartiest congratulations to Team India for lifting the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 with remarkable grit and brilliance. This magnificent victory has filled every Indian heart with immense pride and joy. Well played, champions!”

In another heartfelt message, accompanied by a personal video of himself watching and celebrating the match at his residence, the Chief Minister wrote: “Cheering every run and celebrating every moment – the best possible end to a busy Sunday. Proud to witness Team India scripting history on screen and in our hearts. Heartiest congratulations to the champions on winning the T20 World Cup 2026. A proud and joyous moment for every Indian. Well played, champions!”


Odisha’s Deputy CMs Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida posted on the X handles:
