Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has been ranked 8th among India’s top-performing Chief Ministers, according to the latest ‘Mood of the Nation’ survey conducted by India Today.
Despite being in office for only 14 months, Majhi has garnered widespread appreciation from the people of Odisha for his proactive governance and developmental initiatives. The survey, which evaluated Chief Ministers from states with more than 10 Lok Sabha seats, reflects public sentiment and performance perception across the country.
Majhi joins a distinguished list that includes Yogi Adityanath (Uttar Pradesh), Mamata Banerjee (West Bengal), Bhupendra Patel (Gujarat), and Chandrababu Naidu (Andhra Pradesh), among others.
The ranking is seen as a testament to Majhi’s growing influence and the positive impact of his policies on Odisha’s socio-economic landscape. Political analysts suggest that this recognition could bolster his standing ahead of future electoral contests.
