The Odisha government is set to convene a crucial Cabinet meeting on August 13 at Lok Seva Bhavan’s third floor, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
Reliable sources indicate that more than eight proposals from seven key departments are expected to be tabled for approval.
Among the most pressing issues is the rising conflict between humans and wildlife across the state. In response, the Forest and Environment Department is likely to present a significant proposal aimed at enhancing both forest security and wildlife protection.
Additionally, important proposals from the Revenue, Finance, Home, and Health departments are anticipated. These may include reforms in land management, budget allocations, internal security measures, and public health infrastructure upgrades.
The Cabinet’s decisions could shape policy directions for the coming months, especially in light of increasing environmental challenges and administrative modernisation.
