Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has termed the Odisha Budget 2021-22 as a pro-people pro-growth and transformative budget in our journey towards a “New and Empowered Odisha”.
The Odisha CM pointed out that most of last year was lost in Covid lockdowns.
“From that scenario to present a holistic, fiscally prudent budget for Rs.1.76 lakh crore is nothing short of brilliant,” remarked the Chief Minister and also congratulated all who were involved in preparing the budget.
Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari also presented a copy of Odisha Budget 2021 through a pen drive to the Odisha Chief Minister, as part of the Green Budget initiative.
Patnaik was glad to receive the digital copy of budget and stated that Odisha has become one of the first states to adopt complete E-budgeting. He said the Finance Minister will present budget through a tablet and it will be available to citizens online.
