The Odisha Government has taken a significant step towards strengthening its legal infrastructure by announcing the creation of 267 posts in the Directorate of Public Prosecution, Bhubaneswar.
Of these posts, 163 will be allocated to the Directorate of Public Prosecution, while the remaining posts will enhance staffing in the District Directorates of Public Prosecution.
The Home Department has officially informed the Accountant General of the new posts, providing detailed information about the categories and pay levels. Recruitment for these positions will adhere strictly to the Odisha Reservation of Vacancies (ORV) Act and follow established procedures.
This move is seen as a crucial initiative to improve public prosecution services and ensure the effective functioning of the judicial system in Odisha.
