The Odisha BJP has announced a month‑long celebration to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, beginning September 17 and continuing until October 17.
State BJP President Manmohan Samal said the party will organise a mega blood donation camp on the Prime Minister’s birthday, alongside a series of service‑oriented programmes across schools, colleges, Anganwadi centres, and public spaces.
Activities will include street plays, Sankalp Yatras, drawing and speech competitions, and cultural programmes highlighting the government’s welfare initiatives. On September 17 evening, lamps will be lit at the homes of beneficiaries across Odisha.
Samal added that BJP leaders will take the message of 25 years of Modi’s governance and 25 key services to the grassroots. The campaign will also feature Namo Seva Gatha street plays at major roads and squares.
The month‑long initiative follows a call from the national leadership to celebrate the Prime Minister’s birthday through service and public engagement.
