The Odisha Assembly adjourned till 11:30 AM today after opposition members created uproar during Question Hour.
From the beginning of the proceedings, opposition legislators raised slogans and staged protests in the well of the House. They demanded immediate discussion on patient safety in medical institutions. The uproar disrupted Question Hour, forcing the Speaker to adjourn the House.
Members shouted slogans and accused the government of failing to ensure proper safety measures for patients. They insisted that the issue deserved urgent attention. Speaker Surama Padhy attempted to restore order, but the protests continued, leaving no scope for questions to be addressed.
