The shooter who opened fire on Wednesday on school children attending a church service in the US city of Minneapolis, killing two students, had “kill Donald Trump” and “nuke India” written on his guns, a video on his now-deleted YouTube channel showed.
A tragic shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis left two children dead after a 23-year-old gunman, identified as Robin Westman, opened fire during a church service.
Videos later found on Westman’s deleted YouTube channel revealed disturbing details. Weapons and magazines were marked with phrases such as “Kill Donald Trump”, “Nuke India”, “Israel Must Fall”, and “Where is your God?”. Officials confirmed that Westman used a rifle, shotgun, and pistol in the attack before dying from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot in the school’s parking lot.
Authorities noted that Westman legally purchased the weapons and had no prior criminal record. Journals written in Cyrillic were also recovered, including entries made just days before the shooting.
US Homeland Secretary Kristi Noem called the attack “unthinkable,” highlighting the killer’s chilling references to children and religious hatred.
President Donald Trump has ordered the US flag to be flown at half-staff nationwide in mourning. This was the 146th school shooting in the United States since January 2025
