India’s shooting prowess is set to shine brightly at the Munich leg of the ISSF Rifle/Pistol World Cup, scheduled to commence on June 8, 2025.
The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has unveiled a 23-member squad blending experienced Olympians, Asian Games champions, and promising newcomers.
Key stars include Paris Olympics bronze medalist Manu Bhaker, who will compete in two individual events: women’s 10m and 25m pistol. Joining her are Swapnil Kusale and Asian Games champion Palak, bringing their international laurels and expertise to the team.
Thirteen athletes from India’s stellar performances in Argentina and Peru, where they bagged 15 medals, including six golds, retain their place in the squad. Returning shooters Sandeep Singh and Kusale bring their Paris Games experience, while debutants Ananya Naidu, Aditya Malra, and Nishant Rawat add fresh talent.
With a combination of seasoned professionals and rising stars, India is poised to make an impact on the international stage once again.
