New Delhi: The Ministry of Education is set to release the NIRF 2024 Rankings on August 12, 2024. The rankings will be accessible on the NIRF’s official website at nirfindia.org.
The announcement is scheduled for 3 pm on Monday, August 12.
According to the official website, “The framework provides a methodology to rank institutions across India. It is based on the comprehensive recommendations and understanding developed by a Core Committee established by MHRD. The ranking parameters encompass ‘Teaching, Learning and Resources,’ ‘Research and Professional Practices,’ ‘Graduation Outcomes,’ ‘Outreach and Inclusivity,’ and ‘Perception.'”
Last year, the NIRF rankings were declared on June 5, covering categories such as overall, universities, colleges, research institutions, engineering, management, pharmacy, medical, dental, law, architecture and planning, agriculture and allied sectors, and innovation.
IIT Madras led the overall category, with IISc Bangalore and IIT Delhi following in second and third places, respectively.
In the universities category, IISc Bangalore was first, followed by JNU and Jamia Millia Islamia.
Miranda House, Hindu College, and Presidency College, Chennai, were the top three in the college category.
For Engineering, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, and IIT Bombay took the top three spots. In Management, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Kozhikode were the leaders. In the Medical category, AIIMS Delhi, PGIMER Chandigarh, and Christian Medical College were the top three. In Law, National Law School of India University, National Law University, and Nalsar University of Law were the front runners.
