The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for NEET UG 2026. Candidates can apply through the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, until March 8, 2026.
The correction window will remain open from March 10 to March 12, 2026. The exam is scheduled for May 3, 2026, from 2 pm to 5 pm in a single shift. NEET UG 2026 will comprise 180 questions carrying a total of 720 marks, covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
The application fee is ₹1700 for General category candidates, ₹1600 for General-EWS/OBC-NCL, and ₹1000 for SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender candidates. Payment can be made online via debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking.
NEET UG 2026 scores will be used for admission to MBBS, BDS, BVSc & AH, BAMS, BSMS, and BHMS courses across India. The exam is also mandatory for Military Nursing Service aspirants seeking admission to the B.Sc. Nursing courses at the Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals.
