National Games Goa 2023: Odisha’s Jhilli Dalabehera settles for bronze in 49kg Weightlifting

Bhubaneswar: Odisha weightlifter Jhilli Dalabehera settled the Bronze Medal in the 49kg Category at the National Games Goa 2023, with an impressive total weight of 167kg. Gyaneshwari Yadav of Chhattisgarh clinched the Gold Medal with an impressive total weight of 177 kg while Preeti from Haryana bagged the Silver medal with a total weight of 174 kg in the Women's 49kg category weightlifting at Campal Open Ground in Panjim, Goa. It is pertinent to mention here that the Odisha Government has announced cash incentives for the State’s National Games medallists. As directed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, DSYS will give Rs 5 Lakh for gold medal, Rs 3 Lakh for silver and Rs 2 Lakh for bronze for both individual and team events winners of the National Games
