Washington: On September 24, two asteroids will make a close approach to Earth. Although this may sound alarming, there is no cause for worry. The first asteroid, named 2024 RO11, is the larger of the two. It measures about 120 feet, roughly the size of a commercial plane. This asteroid will approach Earth from a distance of around 4,580,000 miles. Although this might sound close, NASA experts assure there is absolutely no risk of impact.
