In a tragic incident in Nabarangpur district’s Nandahandi, four individuals—M. Santu, Amir Khara, Lalu Rana, and Trilochan Bhatra lost their lives due to suffocation inside a septic tank.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has expressed profound grief over the incident and conveyed condolences to the bereaved families.

As a measure of support, the Chief Minister has announced financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to each of the victims’ families. The state government is committed to ensuring aid reaches the affected families swiftly.
