A tragic incident unfolded in the Housing Board Colony under the Chandrasekharpur police station limits, where a couple was found hanging in their house early this morning.
The deceased man has been identified as 30-year-old Kumar Jiten, an auto driver, while the identity of the woman remains unconfirmed. Reports suggest she was his second wife.
Neighbors recounted that the couple had been engaged in a heated argument the previous night, which they suspect may have played a role in the incident. Their bodies were discovered after neighbors noticed that their room’s door had been left open, prompting them to inform the police.

While some neighbors claimed that Jiten had divorced his first wife and introduced the woman as his second spouse—who was also previously married—his employer contradicted this, stating that though the two lived together, they were not legally married.
