Bolangir: A final-year medical student died in Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Bolangir on Sunday after falling ill.
The deceased, identified as Srikant Mahanandia, hailed from Madhapur under Athamallick block in Angul district.
According to sources, on Sunday evening, Srikant was admitted to the hospital due to severe loose motion and vomiting. But he died under treatment. The exact cause of his death is yet to be ascertained. His body has been handed over to his parents.
