Chaos ensued at the sacred Singhadwar of Srimandir as certain Servitors attacked media representatives in an unprecedented act of violence.

Cameras and mobile phones were forcefully taken away, and several members of the press were assaulted. The incident left a female journalist seriously injured and hospitalized, while a cameraman is also receiving medical attention for injuries sustained during the altercation.

The incident stems from allegations made by devotees accusing Servitors of taking bribes to allow special access to the temple premises. The reports triggered widespread media coverage, which seemingly provoked the wrath of the Servitors.

Journalists have since filed a complaint at the Singhadwar police station, demanding action against the culprits. This incident underscores the need for better protection of media professionals and accountability for those in positions of authority at sacred sites.
