In a spirited tribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, Odisha is set to host a colossal mass run under the banner of ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat’ (Drug-Free India), aimed at rallying the nation’s youth against substance abuse.
The nationwide initiative, scheduled for September 21 at 7:00 AM, will see an ambitious participation of 10 lakh young people across 75 cities. In Bhubaneswar, the event promises to be a highlight, with a grand route stretching from the iconic Kalinga Stadium to Janata Maidan, drawing crowds of enthusiastic runners, students, and community members.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will personally flag off the run, symbolising the state’s commitment to the Prime Minister’s vision of a healthier, addiction-free future.
The Chief Minister unveiled the official jerseys for the participants earlier today at a ceremonial event.
This mass run not only honours the Prime Minister’s milestone birthday but also reignites the collective resolve toward a ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat’—one step, one stride at a time.
