A massive fire erupted at a godown in the Saraswati Enclave industrial area of Gurugram in the early hours of Wednesday, sending shockwaves through the locality.
The blaze prompted an immediate response from the authorities, with 20 fire tenders from Gurugram, Nuh, and Jhajjar rushing to the scene to douse the flames.
Officials confirmed that firefighting efforts continued well into the morning, as several fire vehicles had to replenish their tanks and return to the site. Thankfully, no casualties have been reported so far, although the incident has caused significant financial loss to the affected company.
Sector-10 Police Station SHO Rambir Singh stated, “The force reached here and called the fire brigade. There is no casualty so far, but there is a financial loss to the company.” Jai Narayan, fire officer at Sector-37 Fire Station, confirmed that efforts are ongoing to ascertain the cause of the blaze.
As firefighters continue their operations, authorities remain on high alert to prevent any further escalation of the situation.
