A group of Maoists allegedly killed a Shiksha Doot in Silger village, located in the Jagargunda police station area of Sukma district, Chhattisgarh.

According to reports, the incident occurred late last night when the Maoists entered the village and searched for Laxman Barse, a local shiksha doot. They forcibly dragged him out of his house, brutally assaulted him, and later killed him. Family members who tried to intervene were also injured during the attack.

Police reached the scene this morning and have launched an investigation. Initial findings suggest that Laxman may have been targeted on suspicion of being a police informer.
