Kalyani Priyadarshan’s superhero actioner, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide within its first seven days, driven by strong performances in both domestic and international markets.
In India, the film earned Rs 46 crore net (Rs 53.50 crore gross), showing impressive weekday stability with only minor collection drops and even a 6% rise on Tuesday. Overseas, it amassed $6 million (Rs 52 crore gross), particularly shining in the Middle East and the US, bringing the global tally to Rs 105.50 crore.
The film has surpassed the lifetime collections of several Malayalam blockbusters, including Neru (Rs 86 crore), Bheeshma Parvam (Rs 89 crore), and Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil (Rs 90 crore). It also overtakes iconic female-led South films like Mahanati (Rs 85 crore) and Arundhati (Rs 69 crore), making it the highest-grossing female-led South Indian film to date.
