The administration of the Lingaraj Temple has revealed the schedule for Maha Shivaratri 2025.
The Maha Deepa will be lifted to the top of the temple at 10 PM on February 26. The timeline includes various rituals beginning at 2:30 AM when the temple doors open, followed by Mangala Alati, Avakash Niti, Sahana Mela darshan, Rosha Homa, and other important ceremonies throughout the day.
In the evening, the rituals will include Sandhya Alati, Majana and Besha of Lord Lingaraj, Jatra Puja, and Bedha Parikrama, culminating in the ascent of the Maha Deepa.
