The celebrations followed India’s successful T20 World Cup 2026 title defence, adding joy to Kuldeep’s big day. Pre-wedding festivities began on March 13 with Haldi and Mehendi rituals at a luxury resort. Family, friends, and cricketing stars joined the fun, with Yuzvendra Chahal stealing the spotlight through playful antics. Rinku Singh and coach T Dilip also added energy to the events. Singer Bismil performed at a special Sufi night, dedicating shayaris to the couple.
Kuldeep and Vanshika’s love story began in Kanpur, where they grew up as neighbours. Vanshika supported Kuldeep since his U19 cricket journey, balancing her own career at LIC and studies in Melbourne. The couple announced their engagement in Lucknow on June 4, 2025. The wedding, initially planned for November 2025, shifted to accommodate Kuldeep’s cricket schedule.
