In a dramatic turn of events, the Khurda Sadar police have rescued a youth from Chhatpur who was kidnapped and brutally attacked.
The youth, identified as Subrat Sundaray, was found dumped in a critical condition in the Argul forest on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar after being attacked by a group of 7-8 youths from Nandapur.

The attackers abducted Subrat and assaulted him brutally before dumping him in the jungle area to evade police.
Despite his critical condition, Subrat managed to call the police, who promptly rescued him and admitted him to Khurda Hospital.
Due to the severity of his injuries, Subrat was later referred to a hospital in Bhubaneswar for treatment.
The police have yet to take any action, as no written complaint has been filed regarding the incident.
