Kareena Kapoor has seemingly put an end to recent pregnancy rumours after a paparazzi video sparked speculation that she was expecting her third child with husband Saif Ali Khan.
The rumours began after Kareena was filmed leaving a gym on August 21. In the video, her bodyguard appeared to shield her with an umbrella, while the actor’s appearance led some social media users to speculate about a possible baby bump.
During a subsequent public appearance, paparazzi members apologised to Kareena for the viral video. The actor responded with a laugh and joked, “Pagal kar dete ho tumlog” (You guys drive us mad).
Kareena also appeared to address the speculation indirectly on Instagram. She shared a picture of a man showing off a bloated stomach along with the song Chocolate, Lime Juice from Hum Aapke Hain Koun, adding laughing and pizza emojis.
Her sister-in-law Saba Pataudi had earlier dismissed the pregnancy speculation, calling it a “bad angle” and urging people not to speculate about private matters.
Kareena and Saif, who married in 2012, have two sons, Taimur and Jeh. The actor is currently preparing for the release of Meghna Gulzar’s investigative drama Daayra, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is scheduled to release on September 18.
