Rising Concern Over Vigilante Justice
The incident has raised serious concerns over the growing instances of informal ‘kangaroo courts’ and mob justice in parts of Odisha. Law enforcement officials have reiterated that taking the law into one’s own hands is a criminal offence and urged communities to report suspected crimes through legal channels.
