JP Nadda, the BJP National President and Union Health Minister, commenced his two-day visit to Odisha with a focus on pivotal healthcare and organizational milestones.
On Saturday, Nadda inaugurated a three-day training camp for the BJP’s MLAs and MPs in Puri. The camp aims to strengthen governance skills, ensure ideological clarity, and align leadership with the party’s vision ahead of crucial political developments in the state.
A major highlight of his visit was the official launch of the Ayushman Bharat scheme in Odisha. This policy, adopted six years after its national rollout, signifies a transformative shift from the previous government’s stance. Nearly 3.5 crore residents are set to benefit from the scheme, which provides health insurance to underprivileged families.
Further emphasizing healthcare priorities, Nadda is scheduled to unveil the new building of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Post Graduate Institute of Pediatrics in Cuttack, reinforcing the BJP-led government’s commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure in the state.
Nadda’s visit underscores the BJP’s strategy to integrate public welfare with organizational strength, showcasing a strong policy-driven governance approach.
