Titlagarh railway station witnessed a disturbing incident on Sunday when passengers discovered a dead body inside a train coach.
The matter quickly became the focus of local discussion.
The deceased has been identified as Rajendra Turi, 35, from Jharkhand. Reports suggest he had been working in Chennai and was returning with friends due to issues related to cooking gas shortages. His body was found inside the train when it halted at Titlagarh junction.
Local authorities, including the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP), reached the spot after being informed. They secured the area and initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances of his death.
Witnesses said the discovery shocked passengers and station staff. Officials are examining whether health complications, foul play, or other factors contributed to the incident. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination to establish the exact cause of death.
