The Odisha government is set to start work on a new flyover from Jayadev Vihar to Nandankanan in Bhubaneswar.
“The flyover project has received approval, and technical work is about to begin,’ Works Minister Prithviraj Harichandan informed today.
Minister Harichandan said that the flyover will connect the existing national highway flyover at Jayadev Vihar to Nandankanan, improving traffic flow.
The design includes escape routes at major intersections for smooth navigation. The four-lane road will be built above the existing road, enhancing convenience and safety. The project is expected to be a crucial part of Bhubaneswar’s transportation network, the Works Minister added.
The government aims to complete a significant portion of the project by 2027-28.
