The Minister of Industries, Sampad Swain, today reviewed the ongoing preparations for ODISHA TEX 2025, East-India’s biggest textile event, at the State Convention Centre, Lok Seva Bhavan, Bhubaneswar.
In the presence of senior officials from the Industries Department and media representatives, Shri Swain inspected the arrangements and emphasized the importance of the upcoming mega event in positioning Odisha as a leading hub for textiles and apparel manufacturing in India.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Swain said, “ODISHA TEX 2025 is not just an event it is a mission to showcase Odisha’s strength in the textile sector and create a platform for investment, innovation, and employment. This event will bring together global and national leaders to shape the future of textile manufacturing in the state.”
The Minister highlighted that ODISHA TEX 2025 will serve as a strategic platform for fostering sustainable growth in the textile sector through MoU signings, industry interactions, and key policy announcements. He assured that the state government is committed to providing world-class infrastructure and seamless arrangements to ensure the event’s successful execution.
The event is scheduled for 25th July 2025 at the State Convention Centre, Lok Seva Bhavan, Bhubaneswar. ODISHA TEX 2025 aims to showcase Odisha’s textile strength, boost exports, and generate employment opportunities. Inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, the event will bring together over 500 delegates, including top industry leaders, senior government officials, and investors. With a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and global partnerships, its vision is to position Odisha as the textile hub of Eastern India.
