India has unveiled its 14-member squad for the prestigious Sudirman Cup 2025, set to take place in Xiamen, China, from April 27 to May 4.
This mixed-team badminton tournament will feature 16 nations vying for supremacy.
A major highlight is the return of men’s doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, ranked World No. 11, after missing the Badminton Asia Championships due to injury. However, the women’s doubles duo of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand, who were also sidelined due to injuries, have not been included.
