In a remarkable feat of mental agility, Vishvaa Rajakumar, a 20-year-old Indian student, has clinched the Memory League World Championship title by recalling 80 digits in a mere 13.50 seconds.

This extraordinary achievement has catapulted Vishvaa into the global spotlight, cementing his status as a prodigious mental athlete.

A student at the Manakula Vinayagar Institute of Technology in Puducherry, Vishvaa demonstrated exceptional prowess in the intense online competition, which tests participants in various recall tasks, including numbers, words, and images. Among his notable performances, he also memorized 30 images in just 8.40 seconds.

The secret behind Vishvaa’s success lies in his use of the ancient memory palace technique. This method, dating back to Roman times, involves associating pieces of information with specific locations and mentally walking through them to recall information in sequence. In an interview, Vishvaa emphasized the importance of hydration in-memory performance and shared his practice of linking numbers and words into short stories for more efficient recall.

Looking ahead, Vishvaa has ambitious plans to launch a memory training institute in India. His vision is to make advanced memorization techniques accessible to students and professionals, thereby enhancing cognitive abilities and fostering a new generation of memory athletes.

With his extraordinary accomplishments and dedication, Vishvaa Rajakumar is poised to inspire countless individuals across India and beyond.
